 Group Fitness Class Descriptions 

Basic/Int Step:

Are you ready for a different type of workout? Grab a step and let us teach you the basic step lingo, technique and form. This 45 minute class is designed for the beginner to intermediate level participant.

 

Advanced Step

Enjoy an energizing step workout using a height-adjustable step and intermediate to advanced level movements on, over and around the step. Great motivation from your instructor, the music and other class participants!

 

Interval Step:

Perfect to shape and tone your body. This is a calorie burning combination class with heart pumping cardio and muscle conditioning. Basic to intermediate level step combinations alternated with free weight exercises engage all muscle groups and quickly work up a sweat.

 

Body Blitz:

Sculpt and strengthen in just 45 minutes. A fabulous resistance class that gives you a total body workout.

 

 

 

 

 

Bands & Balls:

Sculpt your legs and buns in this intense class.

 

Pilates:

Come experience an inner-body workout and the latest craze to hit the fitness scene! Take your body to a new level as you are guided through this unique method of physical and mental conditioning. Focus on core strength and muscular imbalances. A refreshing and invigorating workout! All fitness levels welcome.

 

 

Cardio Hip Hop:

Enjoy the club atmosphere with slammin choreography and off the hook music.  You will have so much fun you will forget your working out!

 

Feature:

Ready to move and groove and learn something new? This class features a different type of workout each month from Quad Step to Hip Hop Cardio to Salsa Dancing and everything in between. Notices will be posted in the club to let you know the date and what the monthly feature class will be.  Please sign up at the front office.

 

 

 

 

Silver Sneakers--Muscular Strength & Range of Movement

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand- held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
